One of the questions some of us have in mind these days is whether you should buy a car, or to wait for a new model. For most of us, it really depends on our budget; for others, it’s a matter of taste. Relax, so many new models scheduled to come out this year, starting with standard family cars and ending with amazing sport cars. However, we thought to make your life easier. We picked the best new cars to come in 2017. Here they are:
10. Chevrolet Bolt
EV maker Tesla will might start having some serious completion from General Motors. The new Chevrolet Bolt is really fun to drive besides being very quick. Comes with a 200 hp electric motor and reaches a record of 190 miles on the highway. The acceleration is great, launching the car to 60 mph in around 6.5 sec. Comes with a 8 inch digital gauge cluster and 10.2 inch touchscreen. Includes a 4G LTE WiFi.
9. Chevrolet Camaro ZL1
The 6th generation of Camaro comes with some really interesting specs. This amazing car comes with a 6.2 liter 640 hp supercharged V8 engine. Features a 6 speed manual transmission and a 10 speed automatic option that shifts pretty quick. Some of the options are electronic limited slip differential, a driver mode selector and the performance traction management.
8. Hyundai Genesis G90
If you feel the need for a smarter, or a more progressive approach to luxury with a pinch of styling and innovation, Genesis G90 is the answer. It’s the first luxury car that comes from Hyundai. Amazingly, this car comes powered by a 5.0 liter 420 hp V8. A standard 8 speed transmission and an adaptive control suspension complement the setup. These technologies assure a much smother ride with capable handling. Some of the interesting features include dual HD entertainment screens, ambient mood lighting and a great Nappa leather.
7. Fiat 124 Spider
This stylish car is not very Italian. It borrowed from the Mazda MX5 Miata a lot – the assembly line, the chassis and some of the parts. Yet, the designers didn’t copy quite everything. It has an unique suspension and a powertain of 1.4 liters which delivers 160 hp, with a 4 or 6 speeds transmission in both manual and auto variants. Some of the features are infotainment system, a blind spot monitor and the adaptive headlamps.
6. Lincoln Continental
The new arrival from Continental brings a V6/3.0l engine which delivers around 400 hp. This model has a 6 speed auto transmission. The all wheel drive is optional though. Includes the 360 degrees camera system seen in some of the previous models. The adjustable front seats can provide a relaxing massage and can be heated or cooled as one pleases.
5. Jaguar XE
2017 debuts for Jaguar with the new XE, a compact sports sedan. It comes with a 2.0 liter 240 hp 4 cylinder standard engine. Jaguar never lets us down on the entertainment side, because they added some nice gadgets. The new XE include a head display, adjustable suspensions, semi-automated perpendicular and parallel parking and blind spot vehicle sensing.
4. Lexus LC
Lexus LC an amazing performance car. It comes with a massively meshed hint and a sharply angled metal sheet. It brings a 5.0 liter 471 hp V8 and an amazing 10 speed automatic transmission. The other things which will entertain drivers are the gadgets. A nice touch pad and dial that is similar to BMW and Audi are standard with Lexus.
3. Tesla Model S
The company will release its 3rd electric car. The compact sedan will be the most affordable car offered by the Tesla. They projected the car with an autonomy of around 200 miles. Model S features swappable battery packs and an autonomous self driving mode which works surprisingly well.
2. Audi R8
Some voices say it’s a “less exciting Lamborghini”. A V10 engine (540 hp) provides a lot of power and a brand new electric clutch makes shifting almost unnoticeable. The technologies that will amaze drivers are the ratio varying Dynamic Steering and the digital board controls.
1. Aston Martin DB11
This amazing car, that is also James Bond’s favorite, comes with some expressive and athletic bodywork. It pays homage to the classic DB models with its trapezoid grille and its front-hinged hood. The DB11 has a twin turbo 5.2 liter V12 that creates 660 hp sent to the pavement through an 8 speed automatic transmission. Drivers would reach 60 mph in less than 4 seconds. It has torque vectoring, electric power steering and of course, adjustable suspension. This helps the DB11 to be an amazing luxury ride with a sports car handling. Some of the available features are the auto park assist and the 360 bird eye view camera.
